ABOUT DAWN
Dawn Hopkins an artist residing in Valley City, Ohio finds much of her inspiration from the beauty of creation and capturing moments in time such as a sunset or a butterfly fluttering over a leaf. She is especially drawn to flowers and loves the nuances of their many colors and intricate organic shapes. The intention of her paintings is not to copy nature but rather to express and share with the viewer the beauty she sees in it.
Dawn is an award winning artist and her work has been exhibited at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens in addition to galleries and public buildings throughout Greater Cleveland. She currently paints and teaches at Joann Depolo Studios & Gallery.
